Should you want to venture further afield however, there’s plenty to a keep a large group occupied. Being in the thriving hub of the historic metropolis of Lyme Regis, Lym House has a variety of beaches within walking or cycling distance, there is on-site bike storage should you wish to get some fresh air on wheels, and the South West Coast Path within a few minutes’ walk as well. The Cobb and Marine Parade are staple landmarks of the area and, of course, the Jurassic Coast itself is world-renowned for it’s archaeological finds, some of which you can view in the various nearby museums. In the summer months the harbour and beaches have a range of water sport activities on offer and there are plenty of pubs brewing local beer, and restaurants specialising in marine food caught locally. If anything you’re spoilt for choice!
